A $500 scholarship will be given to the first place participant in each competition.

Participants will be evaluated on performance, memorization, musicianship, accuracy, and technique/tone.

Expository or topical sermon 8-10 minutes

Sample evaluation forms and sermon helps are available on our website on the College Days Competition Information page.

Each participant should come ready to preach one message - expository or topical. It will be evaluated based on their appearance, mannerisms, delivery, content, word organization, illustrations, and proper interpretation/application. The top competitors may preach their message a second time.

In order to ensure all participants have ample time to preach, College Days guests who would like to take part in the Young Man Preaching Challenge must be signed up by Wednesday at noon.

All music must be submitted for approval by March 11, 2024. As a reminder, all music choices but be sacred.

Music may be emailed to [email protected]. If an accompanist is needed, please make a note of this on the music when submitting.
